Jared And Anna Are Having A Girl

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

They just found out they’re having a girl. And the rumors for the name is Madison Raye.

Did I spell that correctly guys? Or did you all want your kid to be unique, and spell it M@tees0n. And yes, thats an “at symbol” and a zero.

Congrats guys!

Time For The Name Game!

Our current agreement is Rider.

The boy’s name Rider \r(i)-der\ is of Old English origin, and its meaning is “horseman”. Possibly a transferred surname. Rider has 2 variant forms: Ridder and Ryder. Rider is a very rare male first name and a very popular surname (source: 1990 U.S. Census).

I like Rider Jackson Coleman. Carrie likes Rider Daniel Coleman as well.

My Other Picks

  • Jebidiah
  • Harley

Carrie’s Other Picks

  • Isaac
  • Micah

UPDATE

Carrie thinks that Ryder is the expected way to spell the name. I say it’s Rider. What I don’t want, is for him to have to spell his name to everybody. So when you think of Rider, how would you think to spell it without knowing.

THIS IS NOT HOW YOU WOULD SPELL IT. If you had to write a guys name, which way would you assume his name was spelled?

Which spelling is the expected for this name?

Back From California

Sunday, January 7th, 2007

We are back from our wonderful California vacation and we had a great time. The weather was perfect, so perfect that we were able to walk the beach on Christmas Day in flip flops and T shirts. We even found an extra long seaweed vine, and we were jump roping on the sand. Everybody gave it a try, even my mom and dad!
Our vacation was everything we wanted it to be and so much more. We always have an awesome time with our friends and family making us want to stay longer!
Also, Jamie is here staying with us for two weeks experiencing Idaho’s freezing weather. So we have been having fun girl parties drinking Martinis and Starbucks in the Spa. Hopefully we can go sledding and ice skating one of these days… there is not much else you can do out in the snow. But it’s okay we are having fun parties inside as well.

Happy Late Welcome to Idaho Anna!

Sunday, February 26th, 2006

Im such a horrible sister, I have been so busy that I forgot to post a Welcome to Idaho Post for Anna! She arrived on Wednesday night. So we have been hanging out and having fun everyday and night so far. Tonight the Rhodes along with Anna are coming over to have Spaghetti and watch movies. The old Pink Panther Movies… which we never watched as kids, but the Coleman boys grow up watching them and they love them. So we will see how funny they are.

The Whitehouse Vacation

Sunday, November 20th, 2005

I was accidently sent a few photos of Ed, Girl, and Luke up in Santa Maria, by Jack. But me and Carrie Ann coulden’t help but notice what a good time Girl was havin’. So we decided to post em here!

Here is a photo of her actually having a good time! I think girl has finally gone country. But in truth, I believe I rode these same pony rides when I was about 5 years old. It was at a sunday school friends party. Maybe my mom can remember the details better than I.

What do you think, mom? Is that the same place?

Labor Day Fun

Monday, September 5th, 2005

Summer is almost offically over. Labor Day is pretty much the final straw of summer events. Then the leaves start to change, and it gets freeeeezing at night. So Im sad, cos I love summer weather, I hate being cold.

But yesterday we had a BBQ over here with the Colemans and some friends. We played Volley Ball and cooked some chili dogs. It was good fun.

Then today we are going over to the Colemans house for a BBQ and to jump in the spa.

Oh yea, and Daniel swam around the Peir today, so maybe he will give us an update on how he did. Im sure they took some pictures, but we dont wanna see them speedo shots!!!

Back to Basics

Friday, August 26th, 2005

Things are pretty much back to normal around here. Camping was great! It was so relaxing and fun to see my family again, I have missed them so much. We played Texas Hold’em, drank wine and Madori Sours, played games around the campfire, rode in Gramps Boat, ate chocolate, rode kayaks, and so forth… And when we went back to Oceanside we had alot of fun going to all the resturants I needed to eat at; Fillippis, El Asador, and In and Out. I also met up with some of my old friends… Angela and I went to Cold Stone, Lauren came over to Anna and Daniels condo to watch a movie, and I saw Angel again cos I saw her the whole week in Pinecrest. My family also walked on the Beach of Carlsbad, it made me miss going to the beach.

But yesterday was my first day back to work. And boy, that first day back after vacation always seems to drag on. But they are cutting about 10-15 hours hours a week for everybody durning the slow time of the year…. so thats gonna make things tuff for Chad and I, cos I just took that week off for vacation and now the hour cut. But that gives me more of a reason to keep looking for another job.

Jarrid is still up here looking for a place to work and a place to live, while living with the other Jared. So that’s always fun… having Jarrid and Jared living together right next door to us. But Jarrid is working with Chad’s parents at the Billiard and Spa shop for now until he finds something more permanent.

Tomorrow Chad and I are heading over to Montana cos his friend, Scott is getting married. So that should be fun, I love going to Weddings.

Yay For Leslie!

Friday, June 10th, 2005

Tonight we went to Leslie’s Graduation. It was nice indoor ceremony at CDA High School with I believe about 280 graduates.

Before the ceremony we went over to the Coleman’s and we had a little party for her with sandwiches, fruit, veggies, chips, and of course a Graduation Cake. It was good stuff.

Congratulations Leslie!! You did it! Im gonna try to get some pics to put up.

Married Life

Friday, June 10th, 2005

Well married life is going great so far. It’s actually really easy and fun. Chad is everything I wanted in a husband. I’m still working part time, and Chad is working over time. He works all week with his siding company and works on Saturdays with his dad. So I pack him a lunch so he has energy thoughout the day and I make sure there is dinner on the table when he comes home. Pretty basic. Occasionally we have Jared over for dinner also. Which is nice. The Coleman family is doing a great job welcoming me into the family and making me feel at home up here. We go to the movies and out to dinner together. Which is good, cos I like hanging out with families.

I havn’t really made any “real” friends up here yet. The girls at work are nice, but they are not the kind of girls that I really connect with and wanna hang out with outside of work. So whenever I do hangout with people it’s with Leslie and Stephanie which is great because I love hanging out with them. Chad has his guy friends over sometimes, I’m still getting to know them, but they seem like okay guys.

But I do miss my family and friends very much. I try not to think about them to much because it makes me start to miss everybody more. But we do have our webcams, which is a big helper, because it makes me feel like I am right there in the room with everybody. But its still pretty hard for me, especially when I see Jacob and Travis. For some reason whenever I see or talk to Jacob, I get teary eyed, or see how big baby Travis is already getting after one month. Its hard being away.

Now I know what CC went through when she lived in Georgia…
