Coleman Family

We BBQ hamburgers for my Birthday this year. We had the Rhodes, Anna, the Colemans, Tonya and Jonas, Brandon and Colin come over.

We went to an Easter egg hunt the day before Easter with CC and the boys. There were soooo many eggs everywhere, the kids had a lot of fun. Then they came over to our house and dyed Easter eggs. On Easter day we went to an Easter morning potluck at our church then we headed over to the Coleman's house for an Easter BBQ.

We took a trip to Schweitzer Mountain and stayed in a beautiful condo! Some of us went snowboarding and other went skying. The view was beautiful and the weather turned out great while we were there.

We arrived in California on Christmas Eve and went straight to the Osborns for our traditional party. It was great to be home in California for Christmas this year. On Christmas morning we woke up and opened gifts. It was a beautiful day so we went for a walk at Carlsbad Beach. We found a long piece of seaweed and we jump roped with it. I felt like a little kid again. We also had a New Years Party at my parents house and had everybody come over . It was a lot of fun!!

This was Janie's first Christmas. Early December we went to Fred Meyers to pick out a tree with the Rhodes, Anna and Jared. It pretty much snowed all through December. A few days before Christmas we went to the Coleman's house for a party where we opened gifts and dinner.

Today was a very special day for our little baby bear. Today was her presentation for the sacrament of baptism. 1) The sacrament of infant baptism is for the parent an act of praise and thanksgiving. 2) The sacrament of infant baptism is for the parent and act of confession. Carrie and I readily admit that we both are unworthy and unqualified for the task. Janie is a gift of grace. 3) The sacrament of infant baptism is for us, an act of commitment. 4) The sacrament of infant baptism is for us, an act of obedience. "Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord; and the fruit of his womb is His reward, As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them" (Psalms 127:3-5)

The Halloween pictures turned out really cute. Jacob and Travis looked really good as Batman and Robin, and Janie looked cute in her hand-me-down Tigger costume from Travis. We just went to the Rhode’s house for Pizza and Rice Crispy Treats and passed out candy. After we drove over to Jonas and Tonya’s house for their little party and Haunted House. We played the Game Riff and hung out over there for the night.

Early October 2006 Miriam rented a cabin for a night at Hills Resort. We left saturday afternoon and had a fun time playing games, going out dinner, and just hanging out with everybody. On the way home we stopped at the Apple Farm and had carmel apples, listened to a band play, and picked out some pumpkins.

October 2006 my parents came up to Idaho to visit us. They drove up here and stayed for 6 days. We took them to the Apple Farms to pick out a pumpkin and have a picnic. They enjoyed watching Janie all day everyday while I worked. At night we all hung out and watched movies and worked on Lil Bahbee :)

We visited the peach farm in Washington.

We went camping with Jonas and Tanya on the CDA River. We rode 4 wheelers and floated the river. It was alot of fun.
