We had a great time with everybody in California for Thanksgiving!

You can check out a few pictures in the Thanksgiving Album that Carrie uploaded last nite.

While we were in California my mom wanted to get more pictures of Janie, so we went to JC Pennys and bought her a cute Christmas dress. It was another long day of taking pictures but in the end it was worth it.

Janie ran around grandma and poppa’s living room chair for a good 15 minutes. So we figured we’d get it on video!

We visited the Wild Animal Park in Escondido on Monday. It was in the upper 70’s and a nice day to see the animals.

Yesterday I took Janie to Sears to get some winter pictures. It turned out to be a very long afternoon because Sears was overbooked in the portrait studio and even though we had an appoint at 12:00, we were there for 2 1/2 hours!!! Janie was very patient and took cute pictures.

Anna and Jared just announced they are expecting a baby!!! YAY! The baby will be here about mid July, which means Anna and I are only two weeks apart! This will be a fun pregnancy for the both of us because we will go through the different stages together. So congratulations Anna and Jared, its going to be a fun journey.

Let the training begin. On Saturday the 17th, Carrie and Janie will head to mom and dads house, and the menfolk will begin the pub crawl across the gaslamp district of San Diego.

I’m in the training stage now, by watching Beerfest repeatedly, and throwing Guinness down the hatch!

For Halloween this year Janie dressed as Tinker Bell. Janie loves Tinker Bell because she has a Tinker Bell backpack. We didn’t go trick or treating but Janie had fun answering the door to pass the candy out. Anna and Jared came over and we ate pizza and watched a movie.

Sean and Jonas called me at 10:30 in the am, yesterday. They shot a doe and needed help packing it out, plus the use of my truck. So the boss gave me the day off to help em out.

He shot her from around 300 yards with his 300 Ultra Mag. Dropped her while she was still eating, so you can see the food hanging from her mouth.

Let her hang for a minute to drain any extra blood from the chest cavity.
