Coleman Family

We met up with the Vander Feers at the county fair, on Saturday. I had lots of fun at the Rodeo, and Carrie and Janie had fun looking at the animals, and playing the fun center. They opened up the rodeo event with 3 Army guys parachuting in. A Special Forces Major, a Army Ranger, and a Airborne guy who ate dirt on his landing. There were a couple of embarrassing moments from Carrie, like calling the mule a “horsey”, and thinking the goats were dogs, but thats to be expected I suppose.

The Friends of NRA committee that I am on, had out booth set up, and were selling tickets to the dinner event, along with gun raffle tickets.

We just got back from camping over the weekend, with Erik, Anna and Jared, and the Pomerinke family. We had a nice spot right on the river and had a good time. We caught crawdads and cooked em, we shot guns, took some great pictures and had fun.

Mom just sent this letter out to a few of us. It’ll give you an update to things.

Hello Everyone!

How are you all doing? I decided to send this to all of you to let you know how we are doing and in hopes that perhaps one of you would write me back!

I see that Hayden cooled down a bit the last couple of days, so you are all enjoying the 80 degree weather, I hope. The summer is passing quickly so I’m hoping you are all getting plenty of lake time. Heath, I don’t know how your weather is but I am still praying that you make good friends (hopefully Christian ones, because you NEED Christian fellowship) (more…)
