We took Janie on her first camping trip this weekend. We packed up and went to CDA river with Jonas, Tonya, and Tonya’s parents. We went on a 3 mile floating adventure down the river on innertubes. We packed up snacks and drinks on our huge innertube and had a relaxing time. Jonas and Tonya had 2 mini tubes while Chad, Janie and I shared a big one. We also we went 4 wheeling up a mountain and Tonya’s mom was kind enough to look after Janie while we went.
The only downfall of the trip was the night sleep, I was FREEZING!! Also I was paranoid that Janie would kick off her blankets and take her arms out from the covers and freeze too. So I was constantly checking her, feeling her hands, arms, and face to make sure she was warm enough. But she slept all night all warm and cozy, plus she was happy because she was right next to me

Lucky!!! It looks like you all had a lot of fun! Very cute pictures too! I love them! Janie looks HUGE!! I miss you all so much! It is ridiculous!

Wow, sounds sooo fun! Except for the “freezing” part of course…. no freezinig here in Georgia..the low at night it still in the 70s.

haha. yea, carrie is a big sissy girl. it wasn’t that cold. we were just in between two mountains, so the sun rose late, and set early.
