CC and Jarrid’s New House

Sunday, July 30th, 2006

CC and Jarrid are in the process of moving into their new house. The past few weeks we have been helping them paint the entire inside of the house and the boys have been working on the wood flooring. It turned out really nice! Yesterday was their moving in party while Jamie and I watched Jacob and Travis all day.

Sears Pictures

Sunday, July 30th, 2006

A few weeks ago we went to Sears to get some pictures, they turned out really cute. I would like a better one of Janie with the boys, so maybe we can try again sometime soon.

Doctors Appointment

Thursday, July 27th, 2006

After we went to the lake today, me and Jamie took Emma Jane to her doctors appointment for her 2 month check up. She weighs 10 pounds 12 ounces and is 23 inches long. She did a great job while getting her shots, and instantly stopped crying when it was over and I picked her up. They also looked at her bump on her eyebrow, and said it was a Dermoid Cyst. I have to go see an ophthaemalogist to get his opinion on it because the cyst might go away on its own or they might have to remove it.

Sunday Morning

Sunday, July 23rd, 2006

We woke up late this morning because I set my alarm wrong. We were too late for Living Word, so we decided to head over to Assembly of God. But we were still on a time limit so Chad had to get Janie completely ready on his own. He changed her diaper, gave her a bath, and dressed her, the only thing he forgot to do was style her hair :) But it was good father- daughter time for the both of them.

WWIII

Kinda off topic. But pastor Chad Sullivan posted a pretty neat summary of what he believes may be the corralation between now and the end times. Check it out at 3G. Read the previous post as well.

Summer Fun

Thursday, July 20th, 2006

Well Jamie has been here for the past week, she came back here with us after California. We have been going to the Lake, going in the spa, walked around parks, drank some fun alchie drinks (non alchlie for me) and just been hanging out and having a good time.

Tonight we are heading over to CC and Jarrid’s house to babysit the kiddies while Anna and CC go help Jarrid paint the inside of their new house. It’s been really hot here lately, today it was 95 degrees and tomorrow it’s suppose to get into the 100s! I think we are going to make a trip to the lake tomorrow to cool down.

Janie is getting so big, I cant believe all the new things she learns weekly. She loves to smile, every morning she wakes up with a big smile on her face while kicking her hands and feet in every direction. She is my little angel.

Happy Birthday Stephanie!

Just wanted to let everyone know that today is my littlest sister’s birthday. She is now un-sweet 16. So everybody wish her a magical experience as we go bowling this evening.

California Vacation

Friday, July 7th, 2006

We only have a few more days in beautiful California, and then we are headed back to idaho. Being on vacation is making me realize how much I miss living here. Everyday we have been having so much fun going to the beach, having big family parties, swimming in the Whitehouse’s pool, and eating real mexican food at El Asador.

My mom and dad are real happy having us all in the house again and being able to play with their grandbabies. Janie is being a great baby as she gets passed around from one person to another. I cant believe how much she has grown since we have been here, her daddy will be surprised.

Also Jared flew in yesterday to help Anna drive her Blazer back up to Idaho, they will be leaving early Sunday morning. So we have fun things planned for him to do while he is here for the next days. We already took him to the beach and Fillippis, then tonight I think we are having a BBQ and heading over to the Whitehouse’s for a spa party.

The Big Job Begins

Wednesday, July 5th, 2006

We started on the main project tonight. Flooring and ceiling scraping in the main living area.

Jarrid and Brandon came over after I had pulled all the trim off around the kitchen and dining room. So we pulled up the linoleum, which was the worst part. There were actually two layers. One from back in good ol’ 1988. Such a great year for linoleum lovers. Well… not really. Gripping the stuff and gradually pulling it up, put awesome blood blisters on every nuckle. So I’m bandaged up pretty good.

After tearing all the floor down to the wood, we brought the hose in and soaked the acoustic ceiling. Then we took to it with the putty knife and the stuff came off like cake. We only had that one scraper, so Jarrid found his california plate inside his truck, and that worked pretty well.

So the living area is currently turned upside down, with the fridge and dining table in the living room. But we’re making progess, taking pictures, and goin back at it tomorrow!
