An hour after returning home from the airport with Heath, Carrie tells me that we really need to go to the hostpital. So we get to Kootenai Medical Center (KMC) around 1:30 am. After an hour she was dialated at 6cm. One hour later or less she was almost at 9cm. That was when we started making calls.

From there, Carrie gracefully handled the labor. The nurses and doctor were all very impressed with how Carrie took it like a champ, and how it only took 40 minutes of pushing. They were all jealous. hehe.

Now its Jared Coleman’s turn to have a birthday party! Everybody is coming over to our house tonight for a pizza party, and Anna is going to make him a homemake cake. Yum Yum.
So I hope you have a fun birthday Jared!

Okay guys, we’re puttin on a competition. Janie is due on May 30th, and we’re all gonna take a guess at her birthday, weight and length. Whoever comes closest… wins…. respect. Possibly a high five, next time I see you.

I think I’m gonna start documenting everything we complete on the house in its own category. Up first, our new appliances. The only pic I have right now is the stove and microwave. We had to cut the counter out to fit the stove in, but it came out nicely.

To bad I didn’t get pics of the old appliances. Bye bye 1970’s. I also put in new lighting, which I’ll get pics of as well.

We also put a hot tub in the backyard. It’s used, and my folks gave it to us for our anniversary, but it’s very nice on the back and helps with the sleeping. The control panel needs to be replaced sometime in the future. It has a habit of going up to 114 degrees. Thats a slow cook, by the way. Spa’s should never go over 104 degrees, for safety reasons.

We’re back home now. The nurse said the reason for the constant contractions, was because the baby was so active. She wouldent stop kicking, and it was causing carries stomach muscles to contract. So they gave Carrie a sleeping pill, and we went home.

The nurse said that the baby could come in 3 hours, or a week. We just don’t know, but it’s very soon.

Dear Miriam and Gloria. This post is especially for you, on your special day… cos you’re very…. special. We both love you both… um, yes.

So allow me to post a few things we’ve all learned from mommy.

* Always change your underwear; you never know when you’ll have an accident.

* Don’t make that face or it’ll freeze in that position.

* Be careful or you’ll put your eye out.

* What if everyone jumped off a cliff? Would you do it, too?

* Close that door! Were you born in a barn?

* If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.

* Don’t put that in your mouth; you don’t know where it’s been!

Today Daniel is graduating from Cal State San Marcos with his Bachlor Degree in Business. After his graduation everybody is heading over to my parent’s house for a big graduation party that should last pretty much all day and into the night.

So yes, the Matuszak girls are very sad that we can not make it to the Graduation and Party today to see our brother graduate. Espesically the after party where they will have Fillippi’s Food!!

So I hope you guys have a fun time and we are very proud of you Daniel!

Here are some of the pictures from Anna and Travis’ Birthday Party we had at our house on Friday night. We had a really fun time.

It’s Cinco De Mayo! But more importantly it’s Anna and Travis’ Birthday! It’s an extra special birthday for Travis because he is turning 1 years old. So tonight we are having a double birthday party here at our house. I think we are gonna BBQ some burgers and hotdogs and maybe jump in the spa. We will be sure to take some pictures and post them, especially of Travis digging his hands and face in his own mini cake.

Our new house is working out just great for Chad and I. We almost have everything situated and ready to go. But Chad and his Dad still want to do some work around the house to fix things up a bit. Chad’s family have been over here many times bringing us dinner and helping us work around the house with painting, putting things together, hooking up the spa, installing shower heads, and just helping us move in general. They are helping us out big time!

My main task is to get the baby room all set and ready to go by this weekend. We are using an old crib and parts should be in on Saturday so Chad can finish putting it together. We also have a wooden rocking chair on order, that should be coming anytime. Chad has to stain that as well, so I am keeping him busy around here But Baby Janie might be here in a few weeks, so I am anxious to get her room nice and ready. Man I still cant believe I am going to have a daughter in a few weeks…
