Here’s a copy of a email Heath sent out to a few of us.

Hey Everyone, Heath here, just wanted to give you all a lil howdy and say that Im good and Im actually over in Iraq right now….everything is very limited, so I wont get too much contact time, but I will call as soon as I can. Dont worry about me everythings fine, Im trainin pretty long and we’re still in the transition of companies, so this place is pretty packed and will be till about the 18th of this month. I’m usin someone elses computer here so I have limited time here. Just wanted everyone to know I miss you all and cant wait to see everyone again.

Mom n Dad and the fam- I love you guys!
Jame- I am so sorry but I didnt get time to get a letter out becuase we rolled out ALOT sooner than expected…so things have been pretty crazy these last few days.I’ll see what I can do.
E-Dizzles - Hope yer knee’s all healed up.

Oh yah….and here’s my address. Its going to have a Unit# added later on but you can still send me stuff.

Although I don’t know you Heath please realize and understand that it is young men like you that make this Country strong. May Our Lord continue to bless you and your unit during this time of service. May God protect each step you take, may your family find comfort in Him while your away but most of all Heath….
