Carrie took a little test tonight. And she passed.

So according to this little magical stick… there’s a bun in the oven.
She didn’t want me to post about it just yet, but I coulden’t help myself. Since this is our first, we’re both excited and a bit nervous. We would have liked to let babies come along at least a couple years from now, but it seems that God’s will isn’t always ours.
We’re not sure how things will come out financially, since we’re both poor white trash. j/k. At this point in time neither of us have health insurance from our jobs. And from what I hear from the Rhodes family… babies are a wee bit pricey!
But we’ll just have to consider the birds, and trust God.

Chad, Are you MAD?? Those things cost money. I am waiting until this whole “Child Labor” thing blows over. So right when they come out I can put them to work. Little “Indentured servants” as it were.
DO look on the bright side. If you get a girl, you get to buy yourself a shot gun. If it is a boy, you get to buy him his first gun.

Hopefully it’s a girl so there’s not another chad running around!!! Get ready to burn through about 10-15 diapers a day. Let me give you one piece of advice that saved us, if you’re not breast feeding then give the formula to the baby at room temp from the beginning. That will save some time and frustration when making at bottle at 3 am.
