Well this 4th of July was very umm, interesting.
Well the first part of the day was of course gonna be lame because I had to work. Who wants to shop at Bed Bath and Beyond when its a gorgeous day outside? NOBODY! So since the store was so empty, it made the day go by super slooooow.
I got off work at about 6:30 and Chad is at the lake with friends. So they come back to pick me up while I clean the house from the morning breakfast. So we meet up with Chads friends and a pastor’s family. The family was real nice. But it was just weird, cos Im use to having my family there with other kids coming to visit my family, but this time I was the other kid visiting a different family. I didnt really know anybody, so I kept quiet to myself.
The fire work show was actually not impressive. Very small grand finale. And to top the night off, it took us an hour and half to get home. Yep, didnt get home til midnight, when the show ended at about 10:15. Not worth it.
Oh well, what can you do? Hopefully next year will be alot different. And ya, it seems like everybody I talked to from the Whitehouse party told me about their cheesecake! Thanks alot guys, it made me feel so much better!
I want some right now!!

Now if youd’ve moved up for LAST years fourth…it would’ve been a whole nuther story. Very eventful last years was.
Not to mention, it seems like there’s suddenly all these freakin bad things happeneing in our beloved home town. They need me back I know. I’m trying my hardest to push through these 5 years. I’ll be home soon don’t worry.

I know how you feel carrie..lol believe me. We ended up going to my Sister-in-law’s house in BFE about 45 min away from “the city” where we live… her new place is were horses, farms and stuff are. But the scenery was pretty..LOL. We ended up going and they had 2 large dogs that liked to smell the kids and knocking them over on accident(the dogs were a boxer and pitbull pup), I was more worried over the kids then enjoying myself relaxing in a place I never been before. We had home bought fireworks which I never dealt with before since I was always with the whitehouses or your parents place. I cant believe that indiana allows fireworks even..hahaha but its only on the 4th of july I was told. But the night ended up being very interesting, we didnt get home til about 11pm. I got masquito bites too, and out here I swell up from them. Sami watched some of her favorite movie on TV.. Jurrasic Park (she still loves it).
Heath when did you just join the military, how do you like korea so far??
