The eTrex Legend

Etrex Legend This is the awesome birthday gift I got this year! So now I can go out in the woods, and get lost on purpose. sweet. But I cant wait to hit the woods out by Hayden Creek, national forest area, so I can try out the tracking feature, etc. Maybe i’ll find some geocaches while im out there. Then i’ll be cool like Jarrid and Woods.

Thanks Gloria & Rick, Jarrid and Deet Deet! You guys helped pay for this badboy!

If you’re new to the GPS, here’s how it works.

Dizzles is a big boy too!

Happy 23rd birthday, Dan! You’ll always be a little brother to me. Little in everything. Muscles, brains, looks… you know…. all that good stuff.

Well Dan… I hope all of your wildest dreams come true!

To My Hubby

Happy Birthday Chad!!

Its his 23rd Birthday, and although we have been together for 3 of his birthdays, this is the first one that we are actually together!! Because the past two years on his birthday I went to Europe. So this morning I made him breakfast before he started his early day of working. I let him open one present last night, it was a pair of levi jeans that I had to order from San Luis Obisbo. But funny enough, I gave erik the sizes and he mixed up the length and width on the pants, so now Chad doesnt get to wear his birthday jeans til we sent them back. Haha pretty funny.

Lemon cake tonight ( thats his favorite) and we are gonna go out to dinner. Tomorrow we will have our BBQ with his family and friends.

Tons of Fun

Im so excited.

I got the time off work for our yearly family vacation to Pinecrest! I was scared when I first got hired, that they wouldn’t let me take a week off because I was a new hire. But I got in good with the Store Manager, and now he is letting me go!! But Im sad cos Chad cant come. He has to stay here, work, and pay the bills.

Plus these next few months we are expecting some company up here.

Heath is coming the end of July. My family is coming mid August to pick me up for the camping trip. Erik is coming late August. And Anna is planning on coming in October! This all makes me super happy.

Daniel’s Big Gurl Delight

Monday, June 20th, 2005

CC (and most of you!) made Carrie a really nice cook book, that we just received in the mail today. Thanks CC!

It was neat lookin through all of everyones recipes… but nothing beat out Bid D’s contribution.

Happy Father’s Day!

Sunday, June 19th, 2005

I’m pretty sure we’re headin to the lake, on this nice sunny and hot day. I don’t know all the details yet, but i’ll try and get some pics up here, in the next day or so.

Here is our duel post for today.

Happy Fathers Day, Dad and Phil!

We are very greatful for all the help you’ve given me and Chad on our start in marriage. We both love you very much. -Carrie Ann

Happy Fathers Day, Dads. Be sure to have some good times today and indulge in some sweet adult beverages and some great BBQ.

p.s. - And thanks for that awesome BBQ Suace, Jarrid. We’ve been having to ration it, so it won’t disappear too soon. But happy fathers day to you too, big guy.

New Camera Coming Soon

Friday, June 17th, 2005

I called kodak to send in my camera for repairs. I think most of you remember the last halloween par-tay, where I had one too many brews, and dropped the camera while out on the dance floor.

You guys can blame it on me all you want, but I distinctly remember Angela’s hand accidently swatting the camera outta mine. heh.

Anyways, I guess my camera is discontinued. So the most they could do was send me a newer model, for mighty cheap. So I’m mailin in my old camera, and they’re sending me this new one for $100. Not bad.

Before the ceremony we went over to the Coleman’s and we had a little party for her with sandwiches, fruit, veggies, chips, and of course a Graduation Cake. It was good stuff.

Congratulations Leslie!! You did it! Im gonna try to get some pics to put up.

Married Life

Friday, June 10th, 2005

Well married life is going great so far. It’s actually really easy and fun. Chad is everything I wanted in a husband. I’m still working part time, and Chad is working over time. He works all week with his siding company and works on Saturdays with his dad. So I pack him a lunch so he has energy thoughout the day and I make sure there is dinner on the table when he comes home. Pretty basic. Occasionally we have Jared over for dinner also. Which is nice. The Coleman family is doing a great job welcoming me into the family and making me feel at home up here. We go to the movies and out to dinner together. Which is good, cos I like hanging out with families.

I havn’t really made any “real” friends up here yet. The girls at work are nice, but they are not the kind of girls that I really connect with and wanna hang out with outside of work. So whenever I do hangout with people it’s with Leslie and Stephanie which is great because I love hanging out with them. Chad has his guy friends over sometimes, I’m still getting to know them, but they seem like okay guys.

But I do miss my family and friends very much. I try not to think about them to much because it makes me start to miss everybody more. But we do have our webcams, which is a big helper, because it makes me feel like I am right there in the room with everybody. But its still pretty hard for me, especially when I see Jacob and Travis. For some reason whenever I see or talk to Jacob, I get teary eyed, or see how big baby Travis is already getting after one month. Its hard being away.

Now I know what CC went through when she lived in Georgia…

Birthday Boy

Friday, June 10th, 2005

Today Heath turns 21! Yay for Heath, he is now legal. So that means when he comes back home to visit, Chad and I can take him out for a celebration drink.

Go Heath it’s your birthday
Go Heath…. Go Heath…..

Not In Idaho!

Sunday, June 5th, 2005

So last night Chad’s family came over, to help Jared move into in the duplex right next to ours. I think its gonna be pretty neat and fun to have Jared living right next to us. We ordered pizza and I made some BBQ chicken and rice, and we had a little moving-in-party. But through out the day, we saw this little white car drive by with about 3 teenage boys who would start honking at Leslie’s truck because she was parked on the wrong side of road. But we really didnt think anything of it.

So anyways the girls stayed over pretty late and some of Chad’s friends came over to watch Red Dawn. But we kept hearing the car drive by and keep honking at leslies truck. I personally never heard the honking, but I guess everybody who did, just pretty much ignored it because we were watching the movie.

When Leslie and Stephanie were leaving our house at about almost midnight, they go to their truck to find a shaddered windshield! The boys threw a beer bottle at the truck and it hit the windshield. The broken bottle was in the street infront of the truck.

So Miriam called the Shariff today and filed a report. Hopefully we can find the boys who did it.

Use The Force

Jarrid sent this to me, and I thought it was pretty nifty.
