Chris Woolet sent me this, in light of the occasion. Although it sounds like somethin’ written from a feller in Jarrid Rhodes’ town.
Collards is green,
my dog’s name is Blue
and I’m so lucky
to have a sweet thang like you.
Yore hair is like cornsilk
a-flapping in the breeze.
Softer than Blue’s
and without all them fleas.
You move like the bass,
which excite me in May.
You ain’t got no scales
but I luv you anyway. (more…)
Everyone thinks that I’m the abusive one. She just left me.
There is nothing like sitting up on the deck at sunset, while drinking wine and eating dark chocolate. It creates such a soothing environment.
It seems like there is so much going on in the Matuszak’s household lately. I am getting married here in about 9 days so we are trying to pack my things and complete all the last minute wedding plans.
Anna and Daniel are trying to finalize their paperwork so they can move into their condo they recently purchased in Bonsal. Purchasing a new condo is always fun and exciting, but involves alot time and work.
My dad is painting the house. Rebuilding the deck and painting it. Plus working on getting a new garage door.
My mom, bless her heart. She is in middle of everything trying to make sure everything gets done correctly.
CC and Jarrid are ready to have baby # 2. A baby boy with the name of Travis Richard. Richard being named after my daddy-o. He is due a week after the wedding.
So tonite, to set aside our busy schedules, we enjoyed the nice weather on our deck drinking our wine and eating our chocolate.
Oh yea, and daniel brought out the hooka ![]()
Here’s a few phone cam pics of the inside of my new fort.

W00t! We just ordered two kegs for the reception. Budweiser, and Bud Lite. So we’ll definetly be havin a sweet par-tay.
So I went to get me and Carrie Ann our new phones yesterday. Not only does it take photos for me to email out, but it does video with sound. Mighty fancy, but what can I say? I’m a hi-tech redneck.
Here’s a few pics I snapped.
Yes please, we will take a Malibu Pineapple, Madori Sour, Tom Collins, and dont forget the Scotch and Water for my daddy-o.
This Laughlin trip was my last family vacation before I get married, and I had so much fun! I learned how to bet on horse races. I played the penny slot machines and had an awesome time doing that. Anna even won 95 bucks on the penny machines! I played in a Texas Holdem tournament in the casino with abunch of older men! Ha, I only had the table beat on one hand, but it was still fun. Kevin actually came in 2nd place in this tourament and won like 65 bucks! The weather was great, and I had a blast spending my 21st birthday in Laughlin with my family cos they make the trip fun!
Carrie Ann turns 21 on this day in April. Wish her a happy birthday, and I suspect there was plenty of this goin on last nite.
She is on the road to Laughlin with her family right now, to spend a few days out there in the casino’s and doing other business with her folks.
And here’s to many more!
Hey Rick, I just wanted to say I hope your birthday par-tay is goin well. I’m sure you guys are all enjoying the good times over at Filipi’s Pizza Parlor.
Also, I just wanted to thank you for being such a great soon-to-be-father-in-law. I love you like a dad, and I am so glad to become apart of your wonderful family.
This one’s for you bud! ![]()
Today I had my Bridal Shower over at the Whitehouses! It was so neat to have all of my closest family and friends all together helping me celebrate my upcoming wedding.
The games we played were awesome. Go Jamie!! Good Job!! We had the girls get into groups to make flower bouquets out of construction paper and pipe cleaner. My mom, Dona, Barbra and Jenny won this game, their bouquet looked like it was straight from a cartoon, so cute!. Also CC got an outstanding 100% on “Who Knows Carrie and Chad the Best!” And we also had a Wedding Word Scramble.
I recieved so many awesome gifts, I cant even believe it. Also I would just like to thank everybody who helped out with the preperations for the shower, especially the Whitehouse family for hosting the shower at their house and working so hard on everything, I really did have a awesome day!
