Our 3rd Anniversary
Happy anniversary, mama bear!
We went out for steaks at the Wolf Lodge Inn, for our dinner date. 3 years sure flew by fast. Here’s to the rest of them, babe. ![]()

Monday and Tuesday I had the pleasure of helping the Honeycutt family move from Washington to Idaho, where all true Christians reside. Welcome friends! It’s gonna be nice having you guys that much closer!
Flickr now allows us to host video with them. The sad part is that my flickr plugin, won’t show the videos here, so you’ll have to click the link “See photo on flickr” in order to watch the vids.
That is, unless we manually embed them into a post.
For Carrie’s baby shower down in California, the shower party got to guess the weight, length and date of birth.

Good call, Dona. Better safe than sorry, I always say.
I just launched the new church website! Plenty of good reading if you’re interested. Let me know if any of you find broken links or bugs.
John 10
26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.”
This has been the message at church the past couple Sundays, and Carrie and I both have really been enjoying our Pastors preaching. We all went over to the pastors house after church on Sunday, and ate and fellowshipped. A great bunch of people. Surprisingly, for this area, they are mostly a younger crowd, where it has been the opposite at most church’s we’ve been to. And they’re gun folks too, so Ryan Vander Feer and I fit right in. The pastors oldest son just turned 21, so he got him a CCW and a Kimber 1911. Thats a beautiful combination. The Honeycutt Family also visited our church, and will hopefully stick around.
I’m currently working on the church’s new website, so you’ll be able to read alot of our pastors writings as well as comment on them. I’ll post the link once the site is complete.
We had steak over at dads house for Carrie’s birthday. Carrie got a fancy new camera. Check out all the pics.
Check out the photos from Ricks band! Looking good, buddy! But we still need to get you into some boots. And maybe a buckle the size of Texas.
This song is for you, Rick.
This is one of those fun “first time” posts that will hopefully thoroughly embarrass janie when she gets older and searches through the family website archives.
Well, Janie went d00dy in the toilet for the first time today!
Mom hollered at me through messenger from the Phillipines. She sent me this picture. I guess taxi’s cars don’t go to where they live, so they ride around in little sidecars on dirt bikes.
They just found out they’re having a girl. And the rumors for the name is Madison Raye.
Did I spell that correctly guys? Or did you all want your kid to be unique, and spell it M@tees0n. And yes, thats an “at symbol” and a zero.
Congrats guys!
Janie’s new favorite thing is to make farm animal sounds. The video is really dark because it is taken with my camera phone.
Sunday after church we loaded on our snow clothes and headed to Vander Feers for some sledding. It was actually a nice day for sledding because the weather was in the 40s and some kids before us built a camp fire in the snow. So I hung out by the campfire most of the time while everybody else was sledding down the hill next to me. Janie and Ryan also enjoyed a nifty snow couch next to the fire. Janie wanted to spend most of her time on the couch holding a snow ball.
Yup. My wildest dreams come true. Now I’ll have a little hunting buddy. Click here for photos. Click the image below to see the full size videos!
Our current agreement is Rider.
The boy’s name Rider \r(i)-der\ is of Old English origin, and its meaning is “horseman”. Possibly a transferred surname. Rider has 2 variant forms: Ridder and Ryder. Rider is a very rare male first name and a very popular surname (source: 1990 U.S. Census).
I like Rider Jackson Coleman. Carrie likes Rider Daniel Coleman as well.
My Other Picks
Carrie’s Other Picks
Carrie thinks that Ryder is the expected way to spell the name. I say it’s Rider. What I don’t want, is for him to have to spell his name to everybody. So when you think of Rider, how would you think to spell it without knowing.
THIS IS NOT HOW YOU WOULD SPELL IT. If you had to write a guys name, which way would you assume his name was spelled?
Now… Give us your suggestions!
So the Honeycutts called me up. They were going sledding and we were invited. It was just Janie and I since mama was at a mandatory teacher conference. So we loaded up and headed to a empty development near my dads new house that had some nice easy slopes.
Janie was so funny. she wasn’t a big fan of the sled, cos all she wanted to do is just sit there. and hold this snowball. then she would occasionally drop it and fuss, till i got it back to her.
she did really good out there. didn’t cry at all. just had fun watchin everyone sled and have fun.
UPDATE » JJ Sent me this.

Thats right. Kootenai County has been declared to be in a state of emergency by Governor Butch Otter. And I agree. My driveway is in need of a good shoveling.
